What are the signs of having kidney failure?

Few signs/many signs: Many people know they're moving towards renal failure by their lab values alone. But here are some symptoms which can be associated with kidney failure - and many other things as well: unusual fluid retention, mental changes, confusion, foods tasting metallic, nausea/vomiting, exhaustion, anemia, sexual dysfunction.Much depends on the speed of onset; acute and chronic renal failure arent the same.
