Yes: Antibodies against hepatitis b virus (hbsab antibodies from being vaccinated) are transferred from mother to fetus through the placenta. Babies get vaccinated during their first month of life and begin making their own antibodies, which is very important because the antibodies they got from mom only last about 6 months.

No: Vaccination to mom does not lead to vaccine for child. You pass on protective antibodies thru the umbilical cord but those go away after about 6 months. The child needs its own vaccinations.
