A member asked:

What would happen if you took chlorpromazine and didn't have schizophrenia or any other related disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It Depends: It depends on how much you take. Chlorpromazine, aka thorazine (chlorpromazine) is an antipsychotic/neuroleptic medication. It causes many side effects, especially sedation in high doses. If a person is not psychotic, thorazine (chlorpromazine) would not cause psychosis. I am not sure why someone would want to take some, it wouldn't be too fun.
