Sprains: There are no specific injuries related to high heels, but sprains can certainly occur if there is any instability and imbalance when wearing heels.

The reason heels: Are not so good if high (over 2 inches) is that this is not a stable position for your foot to be in. It also changes ones posture placing more pressure on the knees, it causes the achilles to contract and places udo strain on the bottom of the forefoot. (not to mention it usually squeezes the toes as well.).

Sprains and more.: You can get ankle sprains, chronic ankle instability, ankle arthritis, and if you fall you may sustain an ankle fracture (I've seen it happen).
