Lump in the Breast: Any palpable lump in the breast, especially if it is painless, can be due to breast cancer. Any new change in the size or shape of the breast is also suspect and needs a check up with a doctor. A mammogram is advised for anything suspicious of breast cancer. Annual mammography is recommended for all women past the age of 40 until 70 years of age in order to dectect small cancers which may not even.
