A member asked:

What are the qualifications needed to be a bone marrow donor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Be healthy.: A potential donor ideally will be between the ages of 18 and 44, although you can register for donation up to the age of 60, and family members over 60 may be used if necessary. You must be healthy, with no serious illnesses, severe allergies, history of cancer or any blood problem that could be passed on by donation.
