Most likely TMJ pain: If opening your jaw causes pain this can be because you TMJ is not working normally. There are many causes of this ranging from trauma, arthritis, clenching and grinding you teeth. There can be other caused also such as ear infections, so it is best to see your dentist and have this checked out.
