If prescribed: If your doctor has prescribed Ativan along with your zoloft (sertraline), (sertraline) s/he will give you a particular dose and timing schedule. This could be on a regular or as needed ("prn") basis. Used this way, Ativan and zoloft (sertraline) can be safe together. Sometimes Ativan can help anxiety temporarily, while getting onto zoloft (sertraline) for panic, etc.
