What is the safest way to bathe a baby?

Infant tub: When you have a very small baby use an infant insert for your baby bathtub. These are generally soft and allow the infant to remain a bit higher in the tub. Use warm, but not hot water. Make sure you test the temperature beforehand. Use nonscented body wash, working your way from cleanest to dirtiest spots. Use warm water to rinse and immediately wrap baby in a towel to keep them warm.
