Peanut allergy: Allergy to peanuts can be extremely dangerous. Serious reactions can occur. The most dangerous is anaphylaxsis shock and this can cause death. You must see an allergist for examination and treatment to prevent severe consequences from peanut allergy.

Yes: Peanuts are a legume. Peanut allergy has been increasing in prevalence. It also depends on what the allergic reaction is...........Rash, itch hives, swelling.......Or full blown anaphylaxis. Best to avoid and see your allergist for testing. If anaphylaxis, must have a food allergy anaphylaxis plan as well as an epi-pen at all times.
