No Trich totally dif: Trich is caused by an organism that is an std, yeast is caused my different strains of candida which is not an std and the txment is totally differnet, and u may be allergic to the Monistat or if u do not ahve a yeast infection that could react with it to make it burn, u need to see your gyn.
