Perhaps: Postpartum anxiety is a combination of factors. Any woman can have anxiety, even to the level of a significant psychological disorder. Anyone prone to this may very well find the arrival of a new child an inciting factor for new anxiety symptoms. Its unlikely a woman will experience the physiologic changes associated with postpartum depression, however.

New situations: Any new life transition or new situation can cause anxiety if there are risk factors or lack of social supports. Having a child that is not a biological child is now different and surrounding yourself with friends/family and adequate supports can be very helpful. In addition, with children there is limited time for exercise, sleep and nutrition, but these elements are crucial!.
