Help: It depends on the type of chemo and what for, but often chemotherapy can leave a person weak or nauseated. Babysitting help or assistance around the house or with meals can be the best gift at such times.

Service: Chemo response varies but it can be exhausting. And having a new baby is likewise exhausting. Helpful gifts include personal service (cleaning, cooking, childcare, laundry), meal delivery, taxi service (to and from chemo and for household needs), and care for other children you might have.
