Colace (docusate sodium) and sitz bath: Try a stool softener such as solace that is not absorbed nor stimulating. Sitz baths and baby wipes will also help. Prefer foods rich in fiber and avoid preparation h or similar creams as they contain dangerous sympathomimetic substances that can increase your blood pressure and harm your pregnancy.

Options: Several options - over the counter preparation h is a good start or tucks (witch hazel). If they don't work, check with your obgyn for a prescription option. Good luck!
