In all honesty...: ...I discourage people from doing this because of risk of bleeding, infections and scarring. That said, if you're going to do it anyway, clean the skin and a very sharp pair of small nail scissors with alcohol, and snip them off. Big ones can bleed quite a lot, so let your doc do those. An old folk remedy is to tie thread around them, but that seldom works. Otc "paint on" products are worthless.

Yes,but dont: Skin tags can easily be removed with a small sharp scissors, but since they bleed when removed cautery will be necessary to stop the bleeding. Tying string or over the counter chemical can work but may cause damage to the skin which result in possible scarring.

Do Not: Doing these types of things without training increases the risk of poor outcomes. Such as infection, scarring etc. See a professional.

See below: You can try clipping them off with a small pair of scissors. It will be a little painful, and there will be a small amount of bleeding after. Also, make sure you ckean the area well with alcohol prior to snipping.

Dermatology : I recommend having it done by a dermatologist (or other physician) rather than using a do it yourself medication that can be purchased.
