What is septated cyst?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Shelves: A cyst is an abnormal, fluid-filled, epithelially-lined, closed structure. If portions of the wall protrude as if they were shelves, we speak of the cyst being septated; if these divide the cyst into compartments we may call it "loculated".
