In this area there : Are nerves, blood vessels and fascial structures, a ganglion or cyst or a trigger finger can also seem to hurt there. Gout or tenosynovitis can hurt ther too...A thrombosed vein or a bruised nerve or a glomus tumor can affect this area too as well as a foreign body or sliver..... Most important tho there is an infection that can develop somewhat hidden in this area, .
