Difficult: Were your periods normal before? We're you on contraceptives before? A full history would be required. It would be unusual to have a person with normal periods go to surgery for an outpatient case 6 months later, no period. Do ther surgery with this? No weight changes?

??: Hard to know for sure. Depending on age, there could be some disruption to the ovarian blood flow. If your ovarian reserve was tenuous to begin with, these types of changes could cause dramatic changes in cycles. Also depends on your underlying ovulation function. The stress of surgery can affect ovulation. Would suggest evaluation to make more accurate assessment. Good luck.
