Ear temperatures are usually a 1/2 or 1 degree lower than normal and fevers are usually described as > 100.4 f (>38.0 c). Contact your doc if your temp is over 101 & especially (since it's flu season) if you also have cough, ha, or sore throat. Anti-viral meds are helpful especially if you test pos for swine flu.
