IT DEPENDS: Laparoscopic surgery has allowed patients to recover faster than open surgery , and is an excellent choice when a viable option. Usually, recovery to full activity is a few days to a couple weeks, but it varies. The general condition of the patient, the procedure performed, and the size and number of trochar sites all play a role. Your surgeon will clearly define your limitations. Good luck.
