Varies: Everyone is different so there is no magic time frame most are not regularly taking pain meds within a week.

Very short time: With in 2 wks you should not be taking pain medications after fundal plication surgery.

Few days: On average most patients require pain medication for 2-4 days. Then they can usually get by with over the counter tylenol (acetaminophen).
