Constipation: There are not a lot of things that cause pain in the left lower abdomen (LLQ). It is interesting that you have ruled out an ovarian cyst as this would be a common cause in a young woman. The large intestine (colon) is in the LLQ, and constipation is often the cause of pain in this region. The amount of pain that can be caused by constipation is usually overestimated.
