Depends: On cause of non-union. If it is merely do to inadequate stability and alignment, quality of bone as well as circulatory staus is adequate, then yes proper immobilization such as casting should be helpful. Sometimes a bone stimulator may also be necessary. Sometimes surgical revision is necessary. Consult with you treating physician.

Non union: If the calcaneus is not healed three months after injury it is not likely to heal with additional casting. A bone graft a bone stimulator may be required to get the bone to heal.
