A member asked:

Can remicade (infliximab) be used during pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably Not: There is not much data supporting the safety of Remicade (infliximab) use during pregnancy. There are concerns about immunosupression and possibly congenital malformations of the baby. Fortunately some autoimmune diseases such as RA become less active during pregnancy and often do not require medications during pregnancy. Please discuss with your doctor.
