Other Sx ???: Tonsils in kids tend to grow faster than they do until age 7-8 when they stop, then the kid continues to grow & the tonsils assume a smaller relative size. Unless the kid has a sleep disturbance or chronically infected tonsils, they are generally left alone & will be less of an issue in the teen years. If they are just big, ignore it, if inflamed & febrile, she needs to be seen.
