Not really: HPV viral strain finds its niche in specific tissues. Most genital strains,like that you describe are going to stay where they are,or close by,not move to other skin surfaces.They invade skin, not your blood and are not interested in moving to non-genital surfaces. You could pass them to partners, and they can invade the throat through direct exposure, but this is not like having a staph infection
