A member asked:

Can mri miss pinched nerve got pain from low back to legs but did 3 mri back and were al clear(exept small stenosis on neck) what can cause this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely : Mri can't "miss" an obvious disk herniation or stenosis. However sometimes back pain with radiation to legs are caused by other problems. For example one of the lumbar disks maybe degenerative or ruptured. This may cause back/leg pain without a nerve being "pinched".
