Hair growth: Some are; dieckol which is a phlorotannin found in arame, in ecklonia cava or in ecklonia stolonifera. Also, proanthocyanidine (b3) which is found in barley, beer & peech. Also, citrullus colocynthis (bitter apple). Other vitamins have been tried such as vitamin d , but results are inconclusive.

Omega 3's, biotin: For healthy hair growth: Get adequate sleep, avoid excess sugar & fat in diet, v carbonated beverages, eat enough protein, exercise regularly. Biotin helps (but don't over- do it). Insure you have adequate Iron (think kale & other dark green leafies), Omega 3 fatty acids (think walnuts) and vitamin E (fruits & vegetables). Don’t use overly hot water or harsh shampoos.
