If a man have two kids normal and his third child with sicklecell trait, do that mean he carried the trait anyway?

Genetic trait: Sickle cell anemia is an inherited genetic trait. Not all children will express the gene by having sc anemia. It is very common in african-american populations.

Yes, given that ...: Assuming that the mother is the same for all three children and that she does not have sickle cell disease or trait, the scenario you describe means he has sickle cell trait. He has a 50% chance for any given child of passing on sickle cell trait on to them.
