It depends: The independant function of each kidney is less important than the combined total. If your overall level of kidney function is normal or near normal and you do not have difficulty with high blood pressure, then you are unlikely to have any problems with pregnancy. Even transplant recipients that have only one functional kideny are often able to a safe and successful pregnancy.

Depends: Need to know your creatinine level in the blood and estimated glomerular filtration rate. If they are normal, if your BP is ok and there is no protein in the urine, then there is no problem. Studies show that creatinine > 1.5 is a risk for kidney problem getting worse in pregnancy.
