Depends: Malabsorption can occur from many different causes. It is extremely important to see your physician concerning malabsorption as a complete physical with proper testing can usually determine the cause. Once the cause is determined then appropriate therapy can be instituted to help the patient recover.

Probable: It depends on the cause for the malabsorption since the cure is dependent on the cause.

Maybe: The intestinal tissue is very capable of healing & completely replacing injured membranes. To do so requires that you find out what has caused the injury that led to poor absorption. If your pancreas does not make enough enzymes for prober digestion/absorption you can take these as a supplement. If you are gluten intolerant and just can't keep away from the bad foods, you may never improve.
