Many reasons: The extra weight you carry and the pressure on your diaphragm causing reduced depth of breathing can both cause it. Medical complications that occur in pregnancy - anemia, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, or sleep disorders - could also be responsible. Review your extra need to sleep with your md.
