Somnolence: Taking a break from the constant activity required in the care of a newborn, plus the tasks of normal housekeeping or employment can provoke sleepiness even without consumption of "sweets". It is the planned break in activity which allows a sleep deprived individual to naturally reclaim sleep time, not sweets, per se.
