Kenalog (triamcinolone) injections: Sometimes the injections can cause damage to the tendons/ligaments/muscle resulting i scarring this making it tighter and weaker. Do some gently massage and stretching and isometric exercises to start strengthening your adductors and abductors and u should be able to return to normal within 4-5 months of consistent regimen above.

Rare side effects: Kenalog (triamcinolone) injections have been implicated with some rare side effects, long after the injection. I have read of the advent of atrophy at the injection site: this means that if given into connective tissue (ligament) that it may be experiencing atrophy (loss of tissue and therefore strength). It has been reported that muscle injection sites have atrophied in such a way as to "crater".
