Please define what anterior uveitis is?

Sterile inflammation: This is a sterile (non-infectious) inflammation of the front of the inside of the eye. Also termed iritis, it can be visually threatening, usually causes pain and light sensitivity with eye redness. Your ophthalmologist should see this for treatment and some are associated with systemic disease which need treatment.
