Athletic mouthguard: Athletic mouth guards are important for protection against concussion as well as protection of teeth. You absolutely should wear one even with braces on. You can find them over the counter. You might also ask your orthodontist. Be aware that you will have to replace it frequently as your teeth will be moving.

Yes: Yes. This is one of the few times i recommend an over the counter, boil and bite mouthguard. You need to re-adapt every few weeks. You won't be able to wear your elastics, but this shouldn't make much difference the hour or so you are playing soccer.

Yes, but...: First, the guard to wear in soccer should prevent teeth from biting into each other too hard, as if be hit in the chin going upwards. It protects against the shock. A high profile player is on the soccer pitch for practice/games for 6-8 hrs per week. Boil and bite is inferior(prevents movement).Use one that protects lip from braces. The wires will hold teeth well from being knocked out. No elastics.

Absolutely: Better a live chicken than a dead duck. Wear orthodontic mouthguard for all contact sports (including soccer). Your orthodontist will have one for you. Do not wear the otc warm-up kind as these prevent tooth movement, therefore no braces progress. I've seen many tooth/lip/cheek injuries from soccer w no mouth guard, so ask your orthodontic specialist for help.
