Cause must be : Established first. Carpal tunnel affects thumb index middle ring. Cubital tunnel little and ring. Radial nerve back of thumb. Circulation or cold induced raynauds all at same time . Neck and shoulder issues diabetes thyroid disease vitamin deficiency blood disorders neurological issues electrolyte disturbances etc. Don't get scared by this list tho. Nerve compression like carpal tunnel is common.

Diagnosis: You have to find out why it is happening. It can be from some general medical problem or from something mechanical such as resting on your funny bone, a carpal tunnel syndrome or a pinched nerve in your neck. You can't treat it until you have a diagnosis.
