15-20: There really is no minimum age. But this is rarely, if ever, done in children. If veins are distended on the legs of young people, elastic support should be used first to control it. Most sclerotherapy is cosmetic only and can be deferred until adulthood.

No minimum: Sclerotherapy is actually used in very small treatment when treating some kinds of congenital venous malformations. Otherwise, as dr. Sanders said, vein treatment can usually be put off until adulthood when it is more likely to be symptomatic and not purely cosmetic.

Sclerotherapy Age : There is typically no minimum age for sclerotherapy (vein injections). Most people do not begin developing varicose veins or spider veins until there teenage years at the earliest, so it is unusual for children to need the treatment. If you are developing abnormal vein prior to teenage years, i recommend a vascular surgeon evaluate to assure no unusual vascular disease is occurring.

Any age.: I have performed sclerotherapy in the age range from 8 yo to 95 yo. I do not believe that there is a specific age at which sclerotherapy could not be done provided the patient is medically stable, has a valid indication for the procedure and there are no contraindications to performing the procedure.
