Usually 6 weeks: Fractures usually take about six weeks to heal, but will remodel over the next 12-18 months. This process is faster in kids and slower in the elderly. Certain fractures heal faster than others. Non-displaced fractures heal faster.

Bone healing usually takes 6-8 weeks depending on the type of fracture. Each person has a different healing potential depending on age and overall health.
