Ayurveda may be: Harmful to your health. This hindu system of alternative medicine arose in india and commonly uses plant-based treatments and "medicines." however, us studies have found up to 20% of these ayurvedic indian-manufactured remedies can contain toxic levels of mercury, lead, or arsenic. Exercise, yoga, and meditation are less harmful aspects, and can lead to less life stress. Beware food additives/meds.
