Fracture Humerus: Healing time for a spiral fracture of the humerus depends on the age of the patient, comorbidities such as smoking and whether or not the fracture is displaced or not. If the fracture is nondisplaced or minimally displaced, less then 2 mm and the patient is age 20-70, then the fracture should heal in about 8 weeks. It is going to take 6-8 weeks to regain range of motion with physical therapy.

Fast: Assuming all is aligned & fixed or splinted, it has a larger surface area involved than a transverse. This heals side2 side & with a larger surface area involved it will heal quite fast & shoulder motion can b started earlier and involve less pain.
