Yes: Implanon, a Progesterone only contraceptive, is famous for irregular bleeding though pregnancy is not impossible. Adding a low dose Estradiol 1 mg 1/2 per day may help this problem but Implanon and Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) can result in irregular bleeding. Good luck.

Side effect: Irregular bleeding is an almost universal side effect of implanon. There is no normal time for your period on this birth control method. We would suspect pregnancy if you having no periods not frequent periods.
