So sorry: It sounds like you miscarried shortly after the second scan. There are options for you. First, have a second scan to confirm that miscarriage has happened. Next, you can either wait to see if you pass the pregnancy tissue, or you can take medicine to make you pass the pregnancy. Lastly, you can opt to have a d&c-an outpatient surgical procedure to remove the abnormal pregnancy tissue. Sorry.

Early miscarriage: Sorry for your loss! the fetus died sometime after your first scan. This is very common and frequently reflects a major fetal problem that would have been incompatible with life. Natures way of cutting your losses. There was almost certainly nothing you did to cause this and nothing that could have prevented it. If you don't start your periods within a week or so contact your doctor.
