See a doc: Symptoms that linger and are only on one side are more concerning than those that are intermittent, short-lived, and/or on both sides. You need to see an ENT doc and have a scope exam in the office to check this out. Statistically not likely anything sinister but your symptoms are somewhat concerning, especially if you smoke, have a lump in your neck, or are losing weight for no obvious reason.
