Sounds like it: Sure sounds like influenza. First, if you didn't receive a flu vaccine, it raises the possibility. There is a test for influenza, so if you're worried about other possibilities, you should have that done. However, even tamiflu, (oseltamivir) an antiviral drug, won't do much to curtail the symptoms. Contact your doc if you think there may be more to this, like pneumonia or asthma.
