Why would a doctor say that it's possible for a pregnant test to detect pregnancy only 3 days after conception? that is not possible...?

True: When the egg and sperm unite into an embryo it still must implant. A pregnancy test will not be positive 3 days after conception. Even 3 days after implantation it will not be positive.
