Several options: There are two main types of "marks" left by pimples: true scars and hyperpigmented (dark) spots. For scars, we tend to recommend chemical peels and sometimes laser therapy. For dark marks, these will usually lighten in time. Faster resolution may be achieved using a "bleaching " preparation prescribed by your plastic surgeon or dermatologist, or chemical peels.

See a dermatologist.: A dermatologist (skin specialist) can help you with treatments to remove the scars of acne from your past. Many people find these treatments to be well worth the boost in confidence and self-esteem. Your insurance may not pay for such treatment, however. You'll want to do some homework regarding dermatologists in your area. Good luck. Lgromkomd.
