Go see an Orthopod: I would recommend you see an orthopedic spine specialist. That way, you know you will get the proper x-rays.

By an x-ray called : An upshot ap-a transitional vertebra is one that is neither fully lumbar or sacral so a sacralized lumbar vertebra is a transitional vertebra. The only way o have a correct count is from counting/labeling the vertebra from the neck down. There are various configurations that a trasitional vertebra can exhibit.
