Inflammation: You describe a body that is generally inflamed. Diets that promote animal proteins (meat, chicken, fish, eggs, and dairy) are inflammatory. This may have been your situation. Read dr. Neal barnard's book foods that fight pain. He describes a plant-based, anti-inflammatory diet that will improve healing and decrease inflammation. Many of my patients have benefitted and no longer need medications.
