A member asked:

Was bald 9 months ago started taking vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) 10/40. 95% regrowth now. what part of vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) is helping to modulate my immunity?

None of it: Vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) is lowering your cholesterol. As with all things, everyone responds differently. Moreover, baldness is generally due to genetics, not immunity (with exceptions, of course). This would seem to fall into the category of not looking a gift-horse in the mouth. Enjoy the new locks! :-).

None: Vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) is a combination of 2 drugs for cholesterol lowering ( Zetia and simvastatin).Neither of them modulate immunity but Zetia removes lipids from small intestine and Simvastatin works through liver. In combination their effect is more powerful than each drug alone! so far no effect on hair growth or immunity . It may be an coincidence

No part.: If vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin) could regrow hair, they would double the price and seek fda approval. Something else is going on with the hair growth.
